Tara's interest in the law started in Sabine Parish, Louisiana, where she grew up watching her mother's work as an advocate for crime victims. She experienced legal work firsthand at a local personal injury law firm. Tara knew from the beginning that she would become a lawyer.

Growing up, Tara fueled her passion for success with knowledge. She graduated from high school as valedictorian and from college summa cum laude, as her class' top student. Later, she closed her time at Tulane Law School by graduating magna cum laude as a student in the Order of the Coif (top 10% of her class). During her time at Tulane, she competed on the school's national moot court appellate team and participated in the prestigious Tulane Civil Law Clinic as a practicing student attorney.

After law school, Tara moved to Houston, where she handled cases for a legal firm based in New York. Her work for the firm focused on lucrative mergers and acquisitions among oil and gas companies. During her time there, she served as a representative for sellers, buyers, and investment banks on deals ranging in value from millions to billions of dollars.

Tara is now a part of Arnold & Itkin, where she utilizes her skills honed by years of experience in business and contract law. In addition to her work on high-end commercial disputes and in-house business matters, she serves as an advocate for commercial truck accident victims. Tara is proud to be a part of a firm where the rights and needs of her clients take top priority.

Tara continues to serve the Houston area, where she lives with her husband Kurt. Her presence in the community is known through her membership on the Board of Directors for the St. Paul's Methodist Church Foundation, as well as her participation in various community organizations. During her free time, Tara loves to spend time outdoors and enjoys traveling to new places.
